  
NCS Systems has been deeply involved in the research and development of bespoke conversion products and solutions for imported cars for the last 9 years. Our knowledge base spans across all aspects of electronic system conversions from speedometer conversion and road speed delimiting to the conversion of in-built navigation and A/V systems for UK operation.
Our SpeedM8 "Speed Mate" speedometer conversion system was developed to encompass the entire range of electronically pulsed speedometers using the same programmable converter for every application. As well as converting the speedometer to display a reading in MPH instead of the existing KMH format, our system takes every vehicle conversion in to account on an individual basis so that other electronic speed sensitive systems, such as automatic gearing and steering control are not impaired as a result of the conversion.
The SpeedM8 system has been adapted for imported cars from Japan, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand and Europe. The current data base has technical information for the installation of over 250 different vehicle models from more than 20 manufacturers. Inside the shop, you will also find speedometer conversion solutions for cable driven speedometers. A solution for CAN bus based systems is under development.
Many vehicles arriving from the East, feature in-dash navigation and TV / AV systems. Because of design restraints, virtually all of these systems in their standard form are redundant in the UK. For the most popular of these vehicles, such as Mitsubishi Pajero 99>, Mazda RX-8, Toyota (Lexus) Harrier and Land Cruiser (Prado) we are able to integrate a new UK navigation computer to utilise the existing in-built screen.
