The AVIC X1-BT is the new enhanced version of the phenomenonly popular X1-R, the worlds first combined DVD-ROM navigation & A/V DIN sized system. The unit features a fully motorised, retractable 6.5" TFT LCD Touch Screen - offering full system control at your fingertips. Now included in the X1-BT is Bluetooth Mobile Phone conectivity.
You can now leave your mobile handset anywhere in your car (so there’s no need for an unsightly cradle) and control it via the intuitive touch-panel display of the AVIC X1-BT. The system supports memory dialling and full phone book access - synchronising your phone is simple and, once set up, your phone is recognised when in range of the system. And as the car’s speakers can be used to relay your voice, call quality is enhanced over standard hands-free kits.
Amongst the many other features that the X1 has to offer, are full UK & Western Europe navigation with TMC (Traffic Message Channel) reception, CD/MP3 & DVD playback and an FM RDS / AM tuner.
Options for the unit include a Steering Wheel Mount Remote Control, a Voice Recognition upgrade and Reversing Camera. The X1 also features full expansion capabilities, which offer connection to an i-Pod and / or CD Changer, a DAB receiver and TV tuner.
