The AVIC-991 package is Pioneer's flagship combined A/V & navigation system. Enjoy a cinema quality experience in your vehicle with 5.1 surround sound featuring a Digital Signal Processor for the ultimate in-car entertainment experience.
The AVIC-800DVD navigation computer (see picture 2) can be mounted in a 2nd dash location DIN slot if available, or in a hide away location if preferred; under a seat or in the boot area. This system features voice recognition for main system commands and also comes complete with a steering wheel remote control. These features are optional with the AVIC-X1-R system.
Amongst the many features this package has to offer, are full UK & Western Europe navigation with TMC (Traffic Message Channel) reception, CD/MP3 & DVD playback and an FM RDS / AM tuner.
The system offers many expansion possibilities, such as connection to an i-Pod and / or CD Changer, a DAB receiver, Reversing Camera and TV tuner.
