This professional style parking system comprises of 4 sensors which are designed to be integrally mounted to the vehicle bumper. The parking system is primarilly designed for installation to the rear bumper, and powered via the vehicles reversing lights wiring so that operation is automatic when the vehicle is placed in reverse gear.
A specially designed detection pattern enables this sensor kit to be installed to vehicles which have a towbar or rear mounted wheel carrier fitted.
The kit is suitable for installation to medium or large cars and Light Commercial Vehicles. The sensors can be painted to colour match the bumper without affecting the performance of the system and are suitable for installation to metal bumpers.
Operation
Installed to the rear of the vehicle, the system switches on automatically when reverse gear is selected. An audible tone sounds to confirm operation. Obstructions at the rear of the vehicle are detected approximately 1.5 meters away and indicated by a pulsing audible tone. As proximity to the obstruction is increased, the tone pulses at a faster rate. A continuous tone is produced when the obstruction is approximately 30cm from the vehicle.

Mounting Options
This kit is supplied with 3 different sensor mounts for varying installation requirements:
- 4 x Level external surface sensor retaining mounts. For installation in to bumpers which have a verticle surface.
- 4 x Angled external surface sensor retaining mounts. For installation in to bumpers which have an angled surface.
- 4 x Internal surface mounts. For a "Factory Fit" style appearance. These adhere to the inner bumper surface and hold the sensor face in position with out the need for outer surface retainers.
Installation options
The parking system features 3 adjustable settings which are selcted using the 3 Dip Switches, located at the electronic control unit:
- High or Low sensitivity
- Narrow or Wide Sensor Detection
- High or Low Audible Warning Volume
