This 4 sensor electronic reversing system is suitable for vehicles which feature a verticle or slightly angled rear bumper surface. The sensor faces are 24mm in diameter and are integrally fitted in to the bumper surface from the front.
Operation
The system switches on automatically when reverse gear is selected. An audible tone sounds to confirm operation. Obstructions at the rear of the vehicle are detected approximately 1.5 meters away and indicated by a pulsing audible tone. The system detects obstructions across 3 distance ranges and emits an increasing plused tone rate as the vehicle nears an obstruction. A solid tone is emitted when an obstacle is approximately 30cm from the sensors.
This system features a rotary sensitivity adjuster, located at the electronic control module.
