The Inforad system offers drivers an affordable solution for the advanced warning of the locations of Speed Camera sites while driving. The system consists of a dash-top control unit featuring an integral GPS receiver, 3 proximity warning LED's and an audible warning device.
How it works
Inforad calculates your exact position and speed using information transmitted from the Global Positioning System satellites which orbit the Earth. The unit also contains a precise database of all known Safety Camera locations and compares the vehicles current position with this database.
As you approach a risk area, Inforad alerts you by lighting LED's on the unit. Inforad is speed sensitive and will also produce warning tones if you are travelling faster than the known speed limit of the up-coming risk area.
Installing Inforad is easy, simply plug the powering lead in to your vehicle cigarette lighter socket and secure the unit to the top of the dash board and you are ready to go! Subscription and updates
The Inforad is supplied with 12 months free database update subscription. At any time, the owner may update the current Safety Camera location database by connecting the unit to an internet ready PC.
