The CANM8-TEST is a compact CANM8 CAN Bus Interface testing tool. The unit features quick release, plug in connections and is installed in seconds between the CANM8 interface and wiring loom. To use, only the CANM8 interface CAN Bus and power connections are required - output connections can be made after functionality has been tested.
Functionality
The tester gives instant visual confirmation that the loom is correctly connected to a 12v power supply and also features individual confirmation LED's relating to each specific output. Simply plug the tester in-line between the interface and wiring loom and operate each specific vehicle function to confirm which outputs are supported by the CAN Bus. The speed pulse output is checked simply by driving the vehicle slowly forwards or backwards over a few metres distance.
