Tracker Reporter Explained.....
Tracker Reporter is a fleet tracking and management system which allows the user to monitor vehicle activity and also produce highly detailed vehicle report documents quickly and easily from any internet enabled Broadband or ISDN connected PC using Windows Internet Explorer V6 or later. This enables access to fleet data at work or home and does not require the installation of specialist equipment.
A compact electronic unit is professionally installed to every vehicle requiring tracking and is suitable for cars, vans and heavy goods vehicles. The tracking unit is covertly installed and does not use visible aerials or other hardware.

What it costs....
Lease plan costs will vary upon your individual requirements and term of lease. Lease packages are inclusive of monthly subscription charges and a small end of lease transfer charge finalises the purchase.
Once purchased, a monthly subscription charge of £ 13-95 per unit is all that running the system will cost.
On-site system training and after sales support is provided free of charge.
How it works.....
The tracking unit records accurate position, speed, heading and time data at regular intervals and also with specifc events. Vehicle activity is automatically recorded every 5 minutes while the vehicle is in use and also as the below events occur:
- Journey Start
- Journey End
- Vehicle Idle
- Over Speed
- 10 Mile Distance Intervals
The Reporter tracking unit also features an internal battery back-up and will record and notify the user if it's main power has been disconnected.
Accessing vehicle information....
Fleet information is readily available to the user 24 hours a day, 365 days a year by simply logging on to a secure website using a personalised user name and password. Any number of authorised users may access the site at the same time.
Vehicle activity is shown in text and map format. Map scales can be adjusted instantly from street level to a European wide view. All vehicles can be selected for viewing together or they can be arranged in to specific groups, i.e. Sales Agents, Service Engineers etc. as required.
Vehicles can be represented on the map as Cars, Vans or HGV,s and each graphic changes colour in relation to it's last generated report - a vehicle which has just started a journey will be Green, a vehicle which has recorded an Over Speed event will be Pink and so on.
Vehicle information is kept on the Tracker system for 6 months and can be processed into numerous statistical and defined reports. This information can be accessed as required and is produced in a printer freindly format.

Further Options
Mobile Texting : A mobile phone number can be assigned to each vehicle incorporating a Reporter unit. Simply high-light the desired vehicle on your system and click the 'Text Driver' link and you can send a Text Message direct to the drivers mobile phone via your computer keyboard.
Driver ID : Some customers may require a detailed log of which driver uses which vehicle, especially beneficial where drivers regularly change vehicle. By providing each driver with his or her own unique coded Tag Key, the system will record driver identity each time the vehicle is used. An audible alert sounds inside the vehicle each time the vehicle is started, this is cancelled when the driver presents the ID tag to the small dash-mounted receptacle.
Auxilliary Input : A switching input can be incorporated to the Reporter unit which is then defined on the users system as a specific event feature. This may show access to a particular vehicle storage compartment or could be a temperature sensor in a refrigerated area. The system will record when the input was actvated and deactivated along with vehicle position.
Privacy Mode : If the user requires some vehicle activity to remain undetailed, a Privacy Button can be added to the system. Pressing this button at the start of a journey will cancel event recording and a report is logged showing the vehicle in Privacy Mode. The system will resume normal reporting the next time the vehicle is used unless Privacy mode is reactivated.
Please note : Incorporating any of the above features in to the Reporter system may be subject to an additional charge depending on quantity requirements.
