The CANM8-NAV interface is designed to provide a universal solution for installing after market electronic products to vehicles which feature CAN Bus wiring. The CANM8 system is designed and manufactured by ourselves and all CAN Bus applications are researched 'In-House'.

Applications
CANM8-NAV is ideal for use when installing Navigation Systems, Car Audio & Entertainment, Mobile Phone Hands Free Kits, Taxi Meters and many other systems which require sensing of vehicle systems, such as speed and ignition.
Installation
The interface features a mini wiring connector, which unplugs to allow easy installation. There are 2 connections to the vehicle CAN Bus wiring (CAN Hi & CAN Lo) along with a connection to a permanent, fused 12v power supply and an earth connection.
The remaining 6 wires are conventional outputs which are generated from the CAN bus. These outputs are:
- 12v Pulsed Speed Signal
- 12V Pulsed RPM Signal
- 12v Ignition On
- 12v Reverse Selected *
- 12v Illumination On *
- 0v Hand Brake On *

The interface incorporates a multi-function status LED, which indicates correct connection to the CAN system, CAN activity present and confirmation that the CAN identity has been recognised.

Reprogramming Service
All CANM8 interfaces are reprogrammable. If you have purchased an interface in the past and are transferring it to a new vehicle which is not compatible with the software version programmed to your interface, you can return the unit to us for program updating to the current vehicle application software. This service carries a fixed charge of £20+ VAT and includes return carriage. Please use a recorded postal service for returning interfaces to us.
