There may be occasions during a journey, when muting SpeedAngel reminder tones may be desired.A simple double press of the Control Button toggles SpeedAngel between Audible Reminder Mode and Silent Reminder Mode.With Silent Reminder Mode selected, SpeedAngel audible reminder tones are omitted. In this mode, the high intensity white LED which is mounted at the bottom of the speedometer glass, pulses to remind the driver as speed limits are exceeded. pushing the Control Button twice again reverts SpeedAngel back to Audible Reminder Mode. For increased awareness, SpeedAngel always reverts to Audible Reminder Mode every time the vehicle is started, regardless of which mode the system was set to when the vehicles ignition was switched off.
