SpeedAngel Warning Mode allows the driver to set the system to alert at any desired speed.This is useful when travelling within a restricted speed area, particularly within Urban Areas, Motorway Contra-Flows and when towing trailers or caravans when specific towing speed restrictions may apply.
To set SpeedAngel to Warning Mode, simply push the Control Button once while the vehicle is travelling at the speed you wish to select as the current warning speed. SpeedAngel will store this speed and should the vehicle speed exceed the stored limit, a rapid audible and visual warning will be produced prompting the driver to slow down. If the *Radio Mute feature has been installed, the vehicle audio sound will be temporarily suspended until the vehicle speed is reduced to below the set warning speed, SpeedAngel warnings will also cease automatically.A new warning speed can be stored at any time by simply pushing the Control Button once again, alternatively, the system can be switched back to reminder mode at any time by pressing the Control Button twice.
If SpeedAngel Warning mode is set at speeds above 35 MPH, the system will automatically return to Speed Reminder Mode if the vehicle should slow to below approximately 20 MPH.This feature is designed to remind the driver of lower speed limits should the system be set to Speed Warning Mode at a higher speed and resetting SpeedAngel to lower limits has been over looked.
